Poets Dave Caserio and Martin Farawell have been bouncing ideas off one-another since the 1980s, when they were in the graduate writing program at NYU.
Over the years, they’ve remained friends, poetic confidants, and muses for one another. Caserio now lives in Billings, and Farawell in Pennsylvania with his wife Cheryl Solimini.
Farawell is the director of the Geraldine R. Dodge Poetry festival, held every two years in Newark, New Jersey, and Solimini is a journalist and novelist.
The couple recently came to Montana for a visit, and they took a pause in their vacation to come to the YPR studios. They all had just come off a road trip to Yellowstone that took a long detour, so they were all a bit road weary but in good spirits.
